Bloom Chair for Multiple Myeloma Research at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre:
Anyone who wishes to support myeloma research and development of life sustaining drugs, can donate to the Molly and David Bloom Chair in Multiple Myeloma Reseach, through the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. This growing fund is chaired by internationally renowned Dr. Donna Reece, and is enabling the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre to become a major leading myeloma research centre.
If donors want to designate their myeloma gift to the Bloom Chair for Multiple Myeloma Research, they must contact the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation by phone at 416-946-6560, or write "Bloom Chair" on the front of their cheque, in the memo section. The check should be made payable to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. The mailing address is:
Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation
610 University Avene
Toronto, ON, M5G 2M9
There are also a few "named family funds" that support MM research. If you know a family that has a named MM fund and you wish to contribute to it, you can do so online at www.pmhf.ca by selecting their named fund from the drop down list. Or call the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation for names of family funds that support Multiple Myeloma Research. Anyone can donate to a "named family fund" as the money from these donations all go to the same cause: multiple myeloma research at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
